There is no doubt that personal health and fitness are absolutely essential for getting the most out of life. Unfortunately, the combination of an office job and high stress, common to many people, makes keeping fit a bit of a challenge. Exercise, however, doesn’t have to take up much time and can have amazing benefits.

Most experts agree that the key to health and fitness is to watch what you eat and to get a moderate amount of exercise. Eating leaner foods in smaller portions is an excellent way to lose some excess body fat. Tips like taking the stairs instead of an elevator may seem like a simple thing, but these tips can provide some real results.

Smoking is a real detriment to health and fitness. Smoking has been known to cause numerous problems with the human body, including cancer, heart and lung disease, and unfortunately, death. If you’re a smoker, it is in your best interest to quit now.
